how to begin your design process

• call david mackey to schedule a meeting at your home, building, or site
• during the meeting discuss your design goals for the new construction, addition, or remodel
• discuss your space needs, your budget range, and your project schedule goals
• walk through the home, structure, or site and explain how your lifestyle or business needs fit or will fit into the new plan
• discuss business matters and fee payment schedule
• once the design process has begun, you and david will have periodic design review meetings to discuss various aspects of the design
• design will proceed from early concepts or schematic designs through more comprehensive final design for evaluation, review and then stamping by a professional engineer, contractor pricing, and finally submission of the plans for the required building permit
• once the permit is issued, you and/or your contractor will continue with the project construction
